This automated tool advertises it will boost traffic to your Web sites, but it spends more time generating traffic to one particular site. Web Traffic Generator's plain interface makes it easy to configure some program options. Sites to check and proxy sites are saved in a pair of easily editable text files. A brief Readme text file provides the only user guidance for the program, but it didn't offer any troubleshooting help and the English was truly awful.
TrafficWave is, again, not quite a traffic exchange. Rather, it’s a valuable tool to use with the traffic you’ve already attained. It’s a fairly sophisticated autoresponder for email lists, with a 30-day trial and a suite of tools designed to help you put together the best autoresponses available. Use it in conjunction with any of your affiliate or referral programs for a sizable benefit.
Basically, what I’m talking about here is finding websites that have mentioned your brand name but they haven’t actually linked to you. This is the practice of optimizing your SEO using services or websites that are external to your website. For example, as your website or blog gains popularity, there are services or website that will give your domain an Authority Value. Domain Authority is an indication of how well your domain will rank in the search engine results pages. There is another set of strategies you can use to optimize for Off-Site SEO that I will write about in a future post. However, Strategy #7 below is an example of an off-site SEO method.
